Workout Wednesday: Kettlebell Video

Hey guys! Happy Wednesday – hopefully your is going well! Mine has been pretty good so far: I got a lot of sleep (after a 12 hour day at the gym with 8 clients, I’m always happy that Wednesdays start later than Tuesdays!), made a good breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage and veggies for Mikey and I and headed out to catch the bus to train it to the gym.

I get a little anxious when I’m late for things and typically enjoy being early – like 1 hour to 30 minutes early for my first client of the day – but missed the bus today! You can imagine I was wringing my hands a little bit and trying to not worry and ended up making it to the gym with 2 minutes to spare. Whoa – that’s cutting it close for me! It threw me off a little and left me feeling vulnerable – not sure why.

…so there’s my Wednesday so far. ;) It’s beautiful out, my day isn’t jam-packed, we’re meeting a friend who’s in town for coffee later and I have ample reason to smile: the joy of the Lord is my strength! (source)

Today’s post is short and sweet, and in keeping with the fun of alliteration, is a Workout Wednesday post! :D I filmed this Monday after not knowing what to workout but knowing I wanted to get my heart rate up and work my whole body. I picked up a kettlebell, got to work, and this baby was born. If you’re stuck for something different to do maybe this will help you out too!

Repeat 1-3 times for a shorter, quick workout or a longer one!

Have a great rest of your Wednesday and tell me – what is your strength? And how are you getting your sweat on today? (I’m resting today, ironically, on this Workout Wednesday, in preparation for a long day of 2 back to back plyometrics boot camp classes and a long day tomorrow!)

Live well & be well today (and keep eating lean and green to fuel you for your workouts and life),

Bonnie

  1. I know this workout that, while short, is still seriously butt-kicking. That’s just how you roll. And YES YES YES – the Lord is our stength at all times. He is SO amazing.
