Burpee Pyramid Workout
Friday – it’s here again! After a full but good week, I’m excited to be heading about to Fairmont, BC to spend some time with our family – Mikey’s sister and brother-in-law are home from Mongolia and his sister and brother-in-law who live in Vancouver are coming out too. It’s family time with the in-laws! Should be a great weekend away.
My days have been full of clients and good workouts, long days and fun moments at the gym. Here’s a few snapshots of the last few days:
Before we head out, however, I wanted to share a great workout I created yesterday for the Power Cardio class I subbed. Here’s what I thought of it after we finished:
The name of the game? Burpees. Yep – it’s all about burpees, my friends, but this workout is a little different than my last 100 Burpee Challenge (have you tried that yet?). Although they’re tough and no one loves them (except maybe for me – I really do love this exercise!), burpees are a move that’s hard to beat when it comes to its effectiveness as a total body, heart rate pumping bodyweight exercise. Check it out below and give it a shot this weekend – what do you have to lose but lots of calories and instead gain a great feeling of confidence and tired accomplishment.
